Military Air Show
Following the flag-raising and officer commissioning ceremony at Kossuth tér (Kossuth Square), the military air show — hugely popular in recent years — will take place over the Danube, and can be watched by those celebrating from both the Pest and Buda embankments. The large-scale show will feature a daring display by Hungarian military aircraft and helicopters. Every year, tens of thousands watch the spectacular air show from the banks of the Danube, making the event one of the most popular outdoor programmes of the national holiday.
