City Park

On August 20–21, from 10:00-18:00, the Hungarian Defence Forces will once again welcome visitors along Kós Károly sétány in City Park, where guests can get an up-close look at the military's modern equipment and the everyday life of soldiers. The equipment on display includes the Leopard 2A7HU main battle tank, the PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzer, and the Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicle, with the exhibition further complemented by air defense systems and radar units.

The programme offers hands-on experiences for every age group: from laser target shooting and airsoft weapons to VR simulators and a drone obstacle course, a wide range of interactive stations await visitors, rounded out by explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) dog demonstrations and military close-combat displays. The event is free to attend, and it's also worth visiting the neighboring Vajdahunyad vára (Vajdahunyad Castle), which is open free of charge on these days.
