On August 19–20, the Műegyetem Embankment will transform into a world-class electronic music venue, where the contemporary electronic music scene meets Budapest's iconic Danube panorama.
Modeselektor is one of the defining duos of the Berlin electronic music scene, made up of Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. In their music — deliberately crossing genre boundaries — the influences of techno, IDM, hip-hop, and electro all blend together. They have been active for more than twenty years, and in 2009 they founded their own label, Monkeytown Records. Their live shows are characterized by energetic DJ sets and elaborate audiovisual productions.
