Abertura x Matyó (Disco Square)

Following the spectacular evening light show and fireworks, the whole nation can celebrate together at Kossuth tér (Kossuth Square) at a large-scale party that stretches into the night. At the Disco Square held in front of the Parliament building, popular current hits will play alongside well-known songs from past decades on the evening of August 20, so that every generation can find their favourite tunes, and exciting surprise performers will also help create an unforgettable atmosphere.

Abertura x Matyó builds a special production from the meeting of electronic music and live instrumental performance. Abertura has been an active player on the Hungarian electronic music scene for more than five years, performing at numerous major events with his melodic house and techno sets. Matyó started his career as a DJ, and today complements electronic music with guitar and keyboards, giving their live performances a distinctive character. The goal of their joint production is to show that electronic music can be energetic, emotional, and a genuine communal experience, all at once.
